It won't be like this for long.

That song by Darius Rucker is my ringtone for my phone, so it goes thru my head alot! Good reminder for me that it won't be like this for long (life with the three little girls, busy as ever), and when it's not like this I will look back and laugh, or smile, or cry, or whatever I feel at the moment! :)

Work has been a bit crazy lately. We haven't been extremely busy, but I have been busy with just odds and ends stuff. I really enjoy going to work because it is a little break from changing diapers, talking in kid talk, filling sippy cups, running here and there and everywhere and getting three kiddos out of car seats. At work I can work on adult like stuff, balancing things, eat lunch by myself with no cutting up kids food, etc... I love working in a small office! I am glad I only have to work 3 days a week right now too though. I sometimes feel like i just don't have enough time to tackle some of the big projects I want to get done. I have things running thru my head constantly!

Local fair is going on this week and we took the girls last night. We got them arm bands for the rides for $10 - unlimited rides. Braelyn wanted to go on every kid ride - she was little miss brave. I took her on the bumper cars, which she actually didn't care for (she is not a big fan of crashing into things I guess). I also took her on the double ferris wheel - wow - that was crazy! I think I am getting old because that was a bit too much for me! We all split one elephant ear and that was it for junk food! It is still amazing to me how much you can spend in one night like that. We paid $8 for all of us to get in, which isn't bad to start. I bought 4 arm bands for rides - one for each girl and then one for me so I could go on a few with the girls - that was $40. Then add in the elephant ear and the pop - $8, and we spent $56. That's a lot to me. I could have bought a bunch of stuff for that kind of money! In fact I spent only like $35 at Target today and got 2 pair of shoes for Braelyn, a backpack, and a few shool supplies! It is fun to go to the fair though because the girls loved it and it is great to see their excitement!
Have I told you yet how annoyed I am with blogger? I'd so love to switch blog hosts. For some reason with blogger now it is a pain in the butt to move your pictures/LO's around after you put them in. They automatically get entered into the top of your post, but previously I could easily slide them down to a new location. Well, now I can't just easily slide them down. So now that I have written all this journaling I don't want to go and insert pictures, because I know I will just get frustrated! I do have a ton of pictures to post on some site (facebook, my shutterfly share site, or somewhere). I'm feeling really backed up on scrapping all the pics I have been taking, so I need to really sit down and assess what I have - summer is going so fast!
OK - here are two layouts, quick! All Lilypad goodies!

See ya everyone!

Summer pics

With Facebook and my blackberry, I find it harder to keep up on my blog! I figure if you are with me on facebook you pretty much know what I am doing anyway all the time! So sorry for the delay in posts - I am not quite ready to give up the blog yet, because it is a little bit of a journal for me! I actually started this post on Monday night and am just now getting to finish it up and post it!
Just needed to post some of my favorite pictures from the last week or two! We are truly blessed with having such a fun filled summer here! We have been keeping very busy with campin, boating, family parties, park playing, swimming, and gardening! Not too much to complain about really (even though I find myself complainin daily about something - I always find something. I really should kick that habit!) Anyway - Here are the pics!

I also just posted a bunch of LO's that I had been slowly working on, and finally had the time to post them in my galleries! I don't have the time to post them all here, but if you want to see them just check out my gallery from the link on the side right there!
Hope you all are ready for the weekend...I know I am! We are going to head up north to my sister and brother-in-law's cabin in the woods! We have been there a few times before they owned it and it is just awesome! Lot's of Rhino riding, dirt bike riding, kids playing with cousins, eating good food, etc...!!! We are very excited and blessed! I am sure I will take a million pictures and I am sure it will take me weeks and weeks to post them! :) Oh well!
ciao,

Maiden Voyage

So, we took our maiden voyage this morning on the new boat! It went great! We had a really enjoyable time with our little family. Here are a few pictures from our adventure (straight out of camera)!

Can you tell he's in his glory???!!!

Until we got pulled over that is! We had just gotten on the water and settled and we got pulled over for too big of a wake, which we really didn't have. The officer said he wanted to meet his quotiant of 2 tickets today, so we were his first victim. Actually he did not give us a ticket because Kyle started chatting with him and told him that he did marine patrol for a number of years, and then Kyle asked if he would do a safety check for us and give us a vessel safety sticker. If you have one of those on your boat it let's them know next time that your boat has been checked over. We passed with flying colors and we were on our way again!

Here we are in the big lake - enjoying the ride

Braelyn always posing it up for the camera!

The girls thought this little port hole from the cubby cabin was pretty neat.

For our maiden voyage we went down to Tunnel Park area and then...

out further in the lake and a little south to see Kyle's Dad and Uncle! That was fun! They were out doing their usual Saturday Salmon fishing - Uncle Paul is showing us the big one they got so far!

So all, in all we were extremely happy about our maiden voyage! We are going out tomorrow again with Kyle's brother, Sister-in-law and their family and we will do the whole park and dune stuff so that should be a really great time as well! For being a self proclaimed "non-boater", I think I can see myself getting into it! ;)

Out tonight with friends with our families - not sure what we are going to do yet, but I am sure it will be fun!

Have a great weekend!

Summer is here

We have hit 90 degrees here in Michigan finally. Summer is here! I love the heat and sun! I don't mind sweating a little bit. Problem is - I also love the reprieve I can get by going into air conditioning! Yesterday my air conditioning stopped working (or the fan that pumps out the air), so it is sweltering hot in my van. Oh well - I will deal with it until we can get it fixed. This week is a busy week for me with swimming lessons in the late afternoon every day and then VBS for the girls at night! They were tired last night! Fun summer stuff!

Few LO's:

This next one is done with Shabby Miss Jenn's new kit - Little Princess!!!

Thanks for stopping! Hope you are having a great summer!

From one morning to the next.

It's amazing how things can change from one morning to the next. Tuesday morning I woke up to the windows open with a lite summer breeze, the sun rising as I lay in bed looking out the window, painting the sky a gorgeous hue of orange. The birds were singing the joyful morning song and the kids woke up calm and refreshed. Then there was this morning. 5:30am Kyle jumps out of bed to close our windows due the rain coming down, has to dry up the floor and check all the windows to be sure they were closed. The kids were ready to go right away this morning and I just wanted to get ready for work by myself. Cereal was spilled and needs went unmet. Quite a contrast from one morning to the next! You never know what tomorrow will bring!

I have barely had any time to sit and scrap. I have so many ideas floating around in my head and I just can't get enough time to really scrap. I have been teaching some classes on digital scrapbooking, which is great, but can be time consuming. We've also been busy busy with summer fun stuff as well!

One LO for The-Lilypad challenge this week...1.2.3. Also using some new goodies that went into the store on Tue.! You guys better keep your eyes open for the new product on Friday too - WOWZERS!!!

Another work day tomorrow, and then Friday we hope to take the boat out if it is not raining! Wedding on Sat. afternoon/night and of course Father's Day on Sunday!

Hope this post finds you all well and enjoying your summer!

Summer Time

Or is it??? We have maybe hit 80 degrees once in the last month. Ugh. I would love some HOT weather! I haven't even had an urge to join anyone at a pool yet, because it gives me chills to even think about it! :) We head out camping this weekend for just two nights in my grandma's old motor home, so we are hoping for some warmer weather for that. It is nice to have it get a little cool at night so that you can enjoy a nice warm fire though! Life has been crazy lately - as usual - just like everyone else's I am sure! Summer always brings on a busy life, doesn't it?! Kyle has picked up a bit at work and he also has a few side job things going so that keeps him going all night. I can't really think of the last time I had a date night with just Kyle - I really I longing for one of those right now, so we will see!

We bought a boat. Kyle has been wanting a boat for the last year at least (that he has been actually seriously looking at least). I know that he will love having a boat. He is hoping to hook up some down-riggers on it so that he can go out on the big lake and fish. I only requested that if he were going to get a boat that it be one that we could also go out on with the kids or with other couples out for dinner and what not, so he found one that is perfect for all those things. It is nothing spectacular, but it will get us out there and we will have make many memories on it I am sure! Kind of fun stuff. We had to decide between getting a camper trailer or getting a boat and we figured a boat would get more use and if we really wanted to we could camp on it - we did get one with a full camper top - can stand up in the whole thing with it on! Should be fun! And for the time being we still get to use the old camper when we want to do a little camping!

I guess I am short for words right now (which doesn't happen often!) It's raining right now, which sucks b/c we are supposed to be packing the camper tonight and that is no fun - running in and out of the rain! Oh well - I'd rather have it rain tonight so that it gets it out of it's system by tomorrow! Have a great weekend everyone!
