Sickies finally hit us!

Well, Brealynn started puking last night. :( Nuf said!

Today I am supposed to be working half day, but I need to be home cuddling my babies and sanitizing the house. I bet in the last 24 hrs I have washed over 12 loads of laundry. My can of Lysol is almost gone and I have already refilled my bottle of Mr. Clean Antiseptic. Here's to hoping that Kyle, Selah, and I don't get it!

Here is a LO I finished up yesterday. Credits can be found here

OK - sorry so short! Stay healthy!

Happy Anniversary!

Dedicating this post to my fabulous hubby of 6 years!!! This was us - 6 years younger on our wedding day. It was a snowy day, but beautiful! These pictures were scanned in so they are not the best quality. Scanning these reminded me that I need to have all my negatives put onto discs b/c I would LOVE to do a digital wedding album! Anyway - I got off track there. So, our wedding day went perfect - no flaws! My favorite memory of the day was when Kyle turned around at the front of the church and we got to see eachother for the first time that day (this was before pictures!) After the wedding my sister and her hubby suprised us with a limo that took us to our house for some drinks and then on to the reception. All in all it was a great day!!! I totally love Kyle more everyday, and I know that it will continue that way!!! He is a great father and husband. The guy does more laundry than I do - what's to complain about! :) Thanks for sharing in that memory with me!!!
So no big plans for our anniversary - we don't really do gifts for eachother. We already did our dinner too. Just a B-day party for a niece at the local roller rink and then relaxing for the rest of the day! Have a great rest of your weekend!

Sharing a LO and some news!!!

Just wanted to share the LO that I just finished up!!! Check it out here for credits! Just love when the girls are being like this!!! Not a normal sight really - LOL!
So - in scrapping news - you must rush over to the Lilypad!!! There is some new stuff up by the girls - as always it is super fabulous! They are causing a little stir over at DigishopTalk with a forum about how they are causing us scrappers to go over our "budgets"!!!
More exciting news on the scrapbooking front: Dawn - Hunibuni is back and better than ever!!! She's got a freebie on her blog - but her SBB store is looking fabulous right now! Plus she has some exciting news coming soon too!!!
Just not enough time to create with all this great stuff!!!
One more person you must check out if you like templates - Janet Phillips. If you have not linked to her blog yet thru mine, then you absolutely must!!! She gave away an awesome freebie template yesterday and she has a ton more going in her store tomorrow!!! Oh I wish I was not on a spending freeze. I don't know where I would be without my Creative Teams I tell you. Her stuff is going into my "wants" basket!!!
OK - I am off to bed - kiddos still have colds which means I am not getting great sleep and tomorrow night we have a work christmas party (late I know) which should be a good time!!!
Stay tuned - Sat. is my and my sweet hubby's sixth anniversary - maybe just maybe I will post a pic or two from our sweet, fun, awesome DAY!!!
Ciao!

I've been tagged

By Shabby Miss Jenn!!! This might be the first time I've been tagged - so here goes nothing!
THE RULES: List 6 weird things about yourself and then tag 6 people to do the same thing!

1. In my dreams I want 5 kids, but in reality it is a different story. I have a real struggle with wanting a lot, but not thinking I can handle more - LOL.

2. In the shower I have to keep my eyes closed, & rub the water off of my eyes right away when wet. my husband and girls can keep their eyes open with water running down them and not wipe it off. Am I weird or are they???

3. I am the youngest of 5 kids (any correlation to number 1???)

4. one day I am a blonde the next I am a dark red head head.

5. I am a picky eater - and particularly when it comes to texture of food. No cottage cheese, yogurt, beans, etc...

6. I actually don't totally hate the smell of baby spit up. My husband thinks that is so weird b/c he cannot even hold our baby if she has spit up even a little - LOL. I will miss that smell when I am done having kids.

OK - so I finished and it was kind of hard to come up with "weird" things b/c isn't "weird" kind of relative. What is weird to one person is not so weird to another. Oh well!!!

So I have been doing some cleaning today and playing with the kiddos. Just gave Selah a bath b/c she had glue in her hair! Braelynn is doing better - spiked a little fever last night again for a bit, but during the days she has been great! Now hoping Selah skips it! Selah is walking so much now - like across the room. She gets going so fast that she is near running and falls! Braelynn is getting signed up for Threeschool in a few weeks - that is weird. I will be enrolling her in the 2 half days program which will be good I think. I had been taking her to a little school that my friends Marci & Bethany put on and that was with me staying there and she has really come a long way since day one with being more outgoing and active in the activities! The same goes for Sunday School and Children in Worship. She loves going and her Sunday School teacher says she is progressing so much each time! SO fun to hear!

Thanks for checking in and here are the 6 people that I challenge to do the tag!
Bethany, Beth, Kari, Amy Martin, Natalie Braxton, & Dawn Stocstill!!! Have at it girls!

OK - I am off to work on a LO with some of Dawn's stuff now! Have a great day!

New LO & recap of weekend

Well, the weekend is drawing to a close - whew - I have been lazing around all day. Friday night we did end up doing dinner with friends and the food was great, but the dinner was very drawn out. We went to a place called the Grill House and you grill your own food. Kind of ironic that I would go to a restaurant and do my own food I think and pay top dollar - LOL. The whole fun of it though is taking your beverage with you and enjoying the commradery of the people you are with - and we did just that! We didn't end up getting home til almost midnight! Saturday I did some salon at home and get ready for the party we threw at night. Me and four girlfriends threw a big 30th birthday party for our guys and it was totally fun. My brother DJ'd and we had munchies and cake and some good drinks. Unfortunately we got kind of screwed on the tab and the bartender was a jerk, but all in all it was a good time. No pictures as of yet b/c Beth had her nice camera so I did not even take mine as I knew it would not take good pictures in the lighting we had.

While we were there my cousin that babysat called and said that Braelynn had a fever and was shaking. I did what any good mom would do and told her to give her some tylenol and put her to bed - LOL. No - I did ask some questions and around here there have been a ton of kids sick with this fever buisness, so I knew I could not do anything even if I was there. So I told her to call if anything was changing and I checked Braelynn when I got home and she was not warm or anything and she slept pretty good thru the night last night. She has been VERY tired and still fighting the fever a little tonight yet. We were going to have Selah's 1st birthday party tonight, but decided to cancel that b/c there are other cousins sick as well! Poor Selah will have to wait a week or so for her party. At least at one you don't really know it.

So that is my recap for the weekend. I hope you all had as great a weekend and I also hope that none of you had sick kids - although I hear that Kim's kids are kind of sick too. Well wishes and speedy recovery to those who do have the sickies.

I am leaving you with a LO that I have been working on all weekend a little here and there when I got spare moments. Using some fun stuff from the Lilypad. My goal this week is to play with some of Dawn's stuff on a LO!

Yippee!!!

So, my blog looks a little spiffier, eh? I am so excited b/c my brother came and hooked me all up with my blog banner in place, I have cable internet now so he hooked that up, and he also showed me a cool little trick on internet explorer for the blog feed feature. So now I will know if your blog has been updated without having to go to your site every day! Still learning new things every day - what an awesome world!

So I was driving to work yesterday and say a little glimps of a rainbow. I loved it. We had our first snow in over a month and a bright sunny morning and I saw a rainbow! And then that same day on the way home the sky was a BEAUTIFUL shade of orange as the sun set! And I was listening to a song by Casting Crowns (one of my favorite groups) called "Praise you in this Storm" - ah the wonders of the world! So blessed!

OK - Short post here b/c it is already getting late - but I want to thank my big bro Dino for hooking me up tonight! Back to work tomorrow for the last day of the week and we have an insanely busy weekend! We hope to go out to dinner Fri. night with friends for dinner if we can find a sitter, Sat. is a big party that me and some friends are throwing for our husband's 30th Birthdays - more to come on that later - and then Sunday we are throwing Selah a little 1st birthday party! So we are not lacking on things to do this weekend! Ta ta for now folks - hope this finds you all well!

24

So, is anyone else gearing up for the 4 hr season premier of "24"? OMG - I am so so so excited. If you have not seen this show, well then shame on you! Unfortunately it is hard to tell you to start now, b/c it is the type of show that you need to watch EVERY episode, and it helps to watch the past seasons. My husband and I have watched every season except for season number 1! Someday we will have to watch that one on DVD. I have been even wanting to get the "24" game that is out - I know that my good friend Beth would join me in playing it - LOL!

OK - so just wanting to know if anyone else is a "24" junkie like me. It truly is FABULOUS writing!

This is a LO I did with some stuff from the Lilypad! I am so privilaged to play with Amy Martin's stuff, Audrey Neal's stuff, and Natalie Braxton's stuff! Also - Dawn Stocstill is back!!! Also known as Hunibuni - my very first digital designer idol. The background paper on this LO is from my favorite kit of hers called Seeing Stars. I can't wait to get playing with some of her goodies too!
OK - off to eat our dinner and get kids in bed before "24" begins - I have two nights of being glued to the t.v.!!! Have a GREAT beginning of your week folks!
